alluriHailing from Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana state in Southern India, London-based alt-rock singer/songwriter Redd Alluri, shares ‘I See People’, which is lifted from his forthcoming EP ‘Who Are We?’, released via Life Is Thus Records at the end of August.

‘I See People’ is a darkly reflective, Pink Floyd-esque track, drenched in an ethereally hypnotic and yet unsettling psychedelic rock vibe.

Speaking of leaving his home and travelling the world (and completing his Masters in Finland), Alluri reveals…”Travelling deconstructed my ego.. It helped me understand myself better which helped my writing. Every new place added a sense of romanticism to my daily writing sessions.”alluri2Interestingly, the EP’s cover image, was found in a junk shop in Brighton – explains Alluri – “we have no idea who the woman is, she looked like an Elsie to us. We have four other photos of Elsie at various points across the Scottish Highlands that we will use for other artwork. If anyone recognises her please let us know, we would love to be able to put her real name out there.”
